Tiffany plays the AI robot, Sophie in Artificial, Twitch’s first Emmy, Webby, and Peabody Award and first ever original interactive show. She also plays Linda, in Catch the Fair One (a movie directed by Josef Wladyka, produced by Mollye Asher, Kim Parker, EP by Darren Aronofsky), which premiered at 2021 Tribeca Film Festival (winning Best Audience Award). Tiffany starred as the lead in Miss Purple, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival in competition and picked up by Oscilloscope, receiving AWFF’s Snow Leopard Rising Star Award. Chu stars as Kate in The Very Worst Thing That Could Possibly Happen, Winner of Best Audio Fiction at the 2023 Tribeca Festival.
She was born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in San Jose. She went on to study Drama, Film & Media Studies as an Anteater at the University of California, Irvine. Zot Zot! Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she was crowned the Miss Taiwanese American Pageant 1st Princess, also winning the Best Talent award for playing the erhu.
Outside of creating, she is a NASM certified nutrition coach, LOVES food, traveling, music, yoga, film photography, mixed martial arts, pole fitness, and bookmarking food places. Always seeking truth in each character in different dimensions. Perhaps perspective is the balance.
